Website account privacy

Updated October 3, 2026. This notice explains how TheFranckShow website uses account information for Singing Battle and saved rewards.

Your website account

Create a website username and a password for this website. Your website password is stored as a salted password hash, not as readable text. We never ask for your TikTok password. You can sign in and read the last saved copy of your stats, powers and rewards while the host is offline.

Connecting TikTok once

While @thefranckshow is LIVE, request a connection code and send it in that LIVE chat from your TikTok account. The verified show feed supplies the sender’s numeric account identifier, TikTok username, display name and chat-event receipt. A typed TikTok username alone cannot claim rewards. Connection codes are valid for 10 minutes and belong to the website account and browser that requested them.

If you forget your website password, recovery uses the TikTok account already connected to your website account during LIVE. Completing recovery ends old website sessions. Contact the host for help if the account was never connected. Optional official TikTok sign-in, if enabled later, requests basic identity and profile data; its access tokens are used for sign-in and are not retained in your website account.

Saved powers and show records

The website and the host’s show app retain your account link, powers, award receipts and singer records so your saved data stays available while the show is offline. Historical payment and reward records remain privately retained for resolving past transactions.

Optional prize contributions

Verified contributions to the shared prize can display the amount and the name you choose, or Anonymous when selected. Billing details stay private. Prize contributions are optional and do not pay for singer entry.

What appears publicly

Singer standings and powers have public lookup features under Track. Gifter powers can also be looked up. Gifter points and spin statistics stay in the host’s private app. Login credentials and private account sessions are never public.

Cookies and service providers

We use a secure account-session cookie for up to 12 hours and a short-lived sign-in cookie for up to 10 minutes. Signing out ends that website session; it does not erase your saved rewards. Netlify hosts website authentication and private account storage. TikTok and the show’s verified LIVE feed establish account ownership; the host’s show app processes verified reward assignments. Payment services have their own privacy notices and are separate from TikTok sign-in.

Questions and removal requests

Contact the show host through @thefranckshow on TikTok to ask about your account, correct an identity match or request account removal. The host may need to verify ownership before changing or removing records. You can also revoke the app’s access through your TikTok account settings. Show and payment records needed to resolve a transaction may be retained separately from a website account.

Suggestions

When you send an idea, we save its category, title, message, submission time and your website account identity in a private inbox for the host. Your connected TikTok name is included if available. Suggestions do not appear on a public board. You can see your own submissions when signed in, including while the show is offline. Please leave passwords, payment details and other private information out of your message. Ask the host if you want a suggestion removed.
